District 228 Transitional Employment Program students create and sell over 500 holiday cards during the holiday season

Students in Ms. Botica-Marquardt's Transitional Employment Program (TEP) recently made over 500 holiday cards and sold them to staff across all four district schools. 

Students were responsible for helping design the card, use a Cricut to cut out the materials for the project and individually assemble each card. Students delivered the cards to staff and managed the sales for the project. Future plans for this project include students making a seasonal card quarterly to distribute and sell to the district staff. 

TEP is intended to further prepare and develop workplace skills and employment opportunities. Students are from all four district schools and attend TEP at South Suburban College Oak Forest Campus.
