Mr. Harris, Mrs. Guzak, & 40 Personal Finance students visited the @chicagofed today. They learned about the Federal Reserve and the role it plays in our economy. Afterwards the students were able to go through the Money Museum where they saw what a million dollars looked like in different denominations as well as how money has changed through the times. This trip is part of National Financial Literacy Month. Thank you @chicagofed for having us!

BHS Sophomore Leadership took a trip to @thebridgetc and participated in the Lead U program which is a leadership program that focuses on building leadership skills in high school students through various aspects of leadership skills and community service. #BremenBraves

We are proud to announce 12 BHS Braves completed the requirements for the Community Health Workers (CHW) certificate through Sinai Urban Health Institute and the Cook County Department of Public Health High School Pipeline pilot program. 8 of the students will also complete a summer internship at Cook County Dept. of Public Health this summer. This is the 25th year of the nationwide movement raises funds for pediatric cancer research. The money BHS raises will be donated to @juliaslegacy supporting research in sarcomas, secondary cancers, & blood cancers, focusing on, but not limited to, the adolescent & young adult population, which is severely underfunded.
