🌿🔬 Real-world science in action!
Mrs. Wittman’s Environmental Science class spent the day at Sagawau Environmental Center gaining hands-on field experience. Students participated in bird banding 🐦, tracked deer antlers using wildlife telemetry 🦌, removed invasive honeysuckle 🌱, and used dendrochronology to determine the age of burr oak trees 🌳.
From spotting field sparrows and a tufted titmouse to uncovering the science behind our ecosystems, it was a day full of discovery, conservation, and learning! #TPTitanNation
